A Dream Realized {or I Finally Found a Peacock Chair!}

For a long time, I've had an obsession with finding a vintage Peacock Chair (and NOT paying $200+ for it!) and alas, after a spontaneous trip to the Salvation Army, I've found one! Hooray! Now the question is-what to do with it? Keep it as is? Paint it? Find a new cushion?

I was close to acquiring one last year when a friend of mine, Amy @ GlamandGrace, was selling hers after completing this awesome DIY makeover. I love the pops of color with the poms and weaving in the back. Not sure if I want something that vibrant although it looks great!

Inspiration

So sorry for the lack of activity on the blog (but hopefully you've seen some of the new stuff in the shop and on instagram!) but the New Year is always a weird transition. There's always a lot of hustle and bustle near the end of the year with the holidays and work craziness (x2!) and it's hard to just jump right back in in January. A new favorite podcast of mine, Call Your Girlfriend, recently talked about how February is really when stuff starts to happen and I have to agree. Spending a lot of time indoors because of below zero temps and inches and inches of snow fall has really given me time to focus on work, my personal life, and what it is I hope to accomplish this year! A lot of stuff is still waiting to be defined, but in the meantime, here are some of the things that have been inspiring me as of recently!

Happy New Year

A little late on this but Happy New Year, all!
I feel like we all start a new year with hopeful anticipation and this year is no different! Every year I'm amazed at what God has shown and provided. I feel so blessed to begin 2015 with a full-time job I enjoy and the time and energy to pursue my passion project-ode{vintage}!
I have no idea what to expect this year, but with friends' weddings, new babies, another year of the Cleveland Flea and new friends, I feel nothing but hopeful!
